NIADA’s newest educator is ready to provide the newest opportunity for independent dealers to benefit from the association’s growing dealer training offerings.
Dealer 20 Groups moderator/consultant Justin Osburn, the latest addition to NIADA’s staff of industry trainers, will hold a Retail Sales Training Workshop from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p. m. August 23rd at the association’s Florida offices in Sarasota.
Osburn, who brings more than a decade of sales, F&I, management and ownership experience in the used vehicle industry, will offer techniques, tips, ideas and best practices on the essentials of retail auto sales.
Among the topics to be addressed are goal-setting, phone skills, building rapport, walk-arounds and demos, negotiating, follow-up and effective use of CRM systems and social media.
“Sales Essentials is the most relevant sales training on the market today, focused on today’s more educated car buyer, ” Osburn said. “It’s the basic sales training program of the future. Your sales team will learn how to incorporate today’s media to prospect, sell and follow up, as well as bonus material like implementing text, responding to live online leads, social media self-branding and prospecting, and how a smartphone can create a more efficient sales professional.
“This is interactive training. You can’t use a PowerPoint to teach a walk-around – we do walk-arounds. We do meet and greets. We do test drives and first pencils. And you’ll leave with an action plan and the resources to continue your training.”
